We work with more than 130 producers within 30 miles of Gloucester Services.

We are proud to belong to a dynamic and growing community of producers.

Our Farmshop brings together food and lifestyle products crafted with skill and integrity.  We make them ourselves and source them from dedicated makers who use real ingredients and authentic techniques.

Everything we sell is the best we can find and we always look locally first.

Our buyers seek out exceptional bakers, brewers, growers, farmers, cakemakers, cheesemakers, coffee roasters and craftspeople from our locality and beyond.

Many of our producers have been with us since the beginning.

Gloucester Services was founded with a mission to nurture new businesses and help them grow. We also work with established producers to develop new products. Our Farmshop is always evolving, always innovating, always the place to find something different.

We’re always looking for the next outstanding producer.

BUTCHERS’
COUNTER

At the heart of the Farmshop is our butchers’ counter. Here, our trained butchers sell native-breed meats, many locally sourced from farmers they work with closely. They hand-press burgers and make their own sausages, which they also supply to our Kitchen and Quick Kitchen. Our butchers and their apprentices practise whole-animal butchery, an endangered craft skill. They offer a wide range of cuts, traditional and modern, and can cut to your exact specifications from whole ribs, loins, shoulders and other primals.

OPENING TIMES

9am-6pm

Out of hours you can find a range of packaged products from our butchery in our Farmshop.

DELI COUNTER

Our deli counter brings together a wealth of innovative and skilful local food producers in its tempting spread of pies, pastries, snacks and savouries. Our range includes British charcuterie, locally handmade free-range pork sausage rolls, vegetarian bakes and the best hand-dressed olives we can find to inspire picnics, deli boards and takeaway lunches full of flavour and character.

CHEESE COUNTER

The Farmshop team takes great pride in its cheese counters, which display a diverse range of handmade cheeses from Gloucestershire and the South West as well as speciality cheeses from across the UK and Europe. Our buyers work closely with local and regional makers of farmhouse and raw-milk cheeses unique to their seasons and landscapes.

WHOLLY GELATO

Emily uses free-range milk from her family’s mixed-breed herd to make Italian-style gelato. The flavours are evolving and ever changing, reflecting the seasons and Emily’s interest in fresh food and fascinating flavour combinations.

PATISSERIE

Celebrating the many talented bakers, pastry chefs and chocolatiers based in our region, our dedicated patisserie counter is a focal point in our Farmshop. From colourful and delicate macarons and handmade chocolates to buttery cruffins and the fudgiest brownies, all are made with love and skill and simple, fine ingredients.

LIFESTYLE

Always on the lookout for creative, talented and authentic makers, our buyers create a dynamic range of clothing, homewares, toys and wellbeing products you’d be unlikely to find elsewhere – including natural skincare and home fragrances handmade exclusively for us.

Through our partnership with Gloucestershire Gateway Trust up to 3p in every £1 spent in our Farmshop supports local people and projects.
