At Gloucester, we delight in feeding throngs of hungry motorists each year. Our approach to food has not changed from the simple ethos we worked to when Tebay first opened back in 1972.
It's important to us that our produce is local, seasonal and that our food is home-cooked.
That's why we make as much of our food as possible in our kitchens every day. It means we can choose what goes into recipes (and what doesn't) and that the end result reaches you quicker, fresher and tasting better.
At Gloucester, we serve lamb and beef from surrounding farms, source chicken and eggs from local producers and ensure that as far as possible dishes are influenced by seasonal produce - so don't expect pumpkin soup in April or asparagus in October. But we do promise mince pies at Christmas.
Kitchen: 7am - 9pm
Our Kitchen offers a range of homemade soups, hot meals, a healthy deli counter and salad bar, home baked cakes plus fair trade tea and coffee and freshly squeezed fruit juice.
Quick Kitchen: 6am hot food from 6:30am
Our Quick Kitchen offers stews, pies, soups and salads plus sandwiches and cakes and fair trade tea and coffee to take away.
